Main Hall

The Events Centre Main Hall is a large space available to all community groups and private individual. Refurbished to a high standard it has a separate access point making it available during the evening or at weekends. Making it great for children’s parties, weddings, wakes, funeral services and productions.

The room has a fully equipped raised stage area with extension facilities making it suitable for a variety of performances from school plays to fashion shows. The sides and rear of the stage have black curtains to provide a blank canvas and the entire room is fitted with blackout blinds. The rear of the room is fitted with fully retractable tiered seating for up to 59 people. The room as a whole can accommodate up to 120 people seated and is fully air conditioned to make sure they can sit comfortably!

A full audio visual and stage lighting system is also available to users in addition to a large retractable projector screen and ceiling fixed projector. It can be used by a broad cross section of users from after school clubs, to amateur operatic’s, to keep fit and private family celebrations.

Bar and Kitchen

Both a bar and kitchen are available to hire for events.  Our bar serves only non alcoholic drinks for under 16 years of age birthday packages. 

A fully stocked bar with bar staff is available to hire and our kitchen comes complete with the use of crockery, cutlery and all electrical appliances.

Lavender Meeting/Training/Conference Suite

At the Wesley Centre we can offer the “Lavender Conference Room” which is a professional meeting room at affordable rates. Suitable for 16 seated people.

Charges start by the hour from as little as £30 (inclusive of VAT).  We cater for all events. (16 years to 30 years celebration are not catered for)

Our meeting room is equipped with WiFi and is also equipped with Audio Visual equipment.

Refreshments required? We offer the use of an on-site kitchen for the duration of your meeting or added to the full day package for only £12 (inclusive of VAT).  We can supply coffee/tea packages  on request starting from £12.00

The Wesley Centre as a manned reception every weekday from 9am until 5pm.

Pricing for the main hall and meeting rooms is at reduced rates for voluntary/community organisations. Commercial organisations making repeat bookings can also attract discounts.
