The creation, formation and incorporation of Maltby CDT Trust Board of Directors in 2003 came about as a result of an extensive and thorough fifteen month Community Planning process. This process identified the need to: Create a self sustaining local company capable of delivering economic and social regeneration. This is achieved by the provision of managed and serviced offices (13) and being the facilities centre for varying local community and voluntary groups.
The Trust Board focuses on supporting community and voluntary groups in Maltby not individuals.
The non profit distributing business model adopted is that of a Private Limited Company; Limited by Guarantee whose members will either live or work in Maltby and its five surrounding parishes and are aged over 18 years. Member’s liability is limited to £1.00 which will only be called upon if the company is wound up because it cannot pay its debts.
